Yanick Wilisky began as an animator in the mid-1990s and never left the craft. Three decades and more than 80 films and series later, in roles from VFX Supervisor to Producer to Executive, he founded the Montreal studio Modus FX and ran it from 2007 to 2014.

Today he leads Entropy Group, which he co-founded with Wayne Brinton, and builds the technology his own studio runs on: an AI-assisted pipeline and a set of production tools made to give artists more time on creative and human collaboration and less on the grind.

Still an artist first.
